This vision was brought to life through the design philosophy of wedding planner Nina. Her concept for this Botanic was rooted in fluid lines and a seamless connection with the natural Ibiza landscape. By blending a sophisticated, muted color palette with the island’s rugged textures, Nina curated an atmosphere of “understated high-end luxury.” It was a deliberate visual narrative where every curve and shadow felt like a natural extension of the cliffs at Casa La Vista.

1. The Table as a Still Life Painting

The heart of this inspiration was the dining table. Nina choose a deep moss-green velvet runner. In the bright Ibiza sun, velvet adds a heavy, luxurious contrast to the dry grass and sparkling pool, grounding the entire design.

Moods Ibiza is a master of the organic and creative realm. Their collection feels like a curated library of stories; they have a rare gift for providing furniture and decor that feel “human” and full of character. By offering pieces with such soulful textures, they provide the essential ingredients for any creative vision to flourish naturally.

Instead of traditional, structured bouquets, Balearic Flower Ibiza explored an “Edible Still Life” aesthetic that perfectly captures the 2026 Botanic Wedding trend.

The Floral Selection: The design features delicate White Anthuriums with their sleek, wax-like finish, paired with the soft, airy textures of Hydrangeas and Lisianthus. These white and cream blooms provide a sophisticated, clean high-light against the deeper, more rugged textures of the table.
Textural Contrast: Notice how the crisp, architectural lines of the Anthuriums lean over organic elements like Cauliflower and Artichokes. The floral elements act as the “fine art” layer, softening the grounded, earthy feel of the produce.
Color Palette & Composition: The palette is a refined study in Monochromatic Greens and Whites, and the warm accents of onion, avocados and pears. By scattering loose pearls across the grapes, the team added a touch of opulence that ties the entire “Still Life” together.

Every piece of this visual puzzle was intentional. De Blossom Studio provided stationery with hand-pressed wax seals, setting a tone of tactile luxury before the guests even arrived.

For the cake from Kiss That Cake, I wanted to embrace the beautiful struggle of letting go. In 2026, the Botanic wedding demands we break away from traditional “cake perfectionism” to welcome something far more bold and organic.

I created a three-tier piece focused on extravagant, experimental piping—a deliberate move to favor movement over rigid symmetry. It’s about realizing that a wedding cake isn’t there to perform; it is an architectural element designed to live within the landscape. Like the rugged cliffs of Ibiza, the design is raw and intentional, proving that our role is to harmonize with the wild beauty of nature, not to overshadow it.

3. Fashion Meets the Mediterranean Light

The bridal look was a balance of drama and ease. The gown from La Bella Blanca featured intricate lace that looked breathtaking under the open sky, while Sally VHM and Meta Massage Makeup focused on a “lit-from-within” glow that felt effortless and modern.

4. A Glimpse Through Sanne’s Lens

Watching Sanne work is a quiet revelation. She has this instinctive way of catching the dynamic pulse between people—those tiny, fleeting emotions that usually disappear in a second.
